The journey of Souq started on 15 Nov 2009. Souq The Restaurant was previously known as Cafe Souq, as Middle East food was new to Ahmedabad. Cafe Souq started business in a very small place at Vijay cross roads. Soon it was decided to bid good bye to Cafe Souq and was rechristened Souq - The Restaurant which opened up on 25 December 2010.
