Our family was planning a get together of about 50 people and was hunting for a resort in Chennai. We finally settled on the Beach Park Club & Resorts as it was just a few minutes from the beach and there were lots of kids in the group. We booked the hotel on Via.com and got a great deal despite being a short stay, kudos to Via.com and they deserve a separate review. Coming back to the hotel, it is located in a peaceful locality in Thiruvanmiyur near Prathana Drive. There are several restaurants in the vicinity apart from the in house restaurant and there is a swimming pool. The event was well organized and the staffs were supportive in terms of getting the party supplies and other stuff. Try to book a room on the higher floors as they are less noisy.

Me and my wife were looking for a nice weekend resort in Hyderabad to just relax and chill out. We finally decided on Pragati Resort, located in Produttur Village. We booked our hotel on Via.com as they were giving a 10% off season discount. The booking process was a smooth experience and I immediately got a message and email confirmation. The Via.com hotel team even called post check in to ensure we had a pleasant experience. The resort was excellent and all our need was taken care of by the owner himself. A tad expensive for the amenities being offered but I would still give the E Hotel a 5 star rating due to its excellent location and super friendly staff. We stayed at the E Hotel from 23rd May to 26th May and Chennai summers are scorching hot. This means staying indoors for most of the day and stepping out only for a couple of hours in the evening. Luckily, the E Hotel was adjacent to the Express Avenue Mall and we spent the entire day shopping and lounging around in the fully air conditioned building. It wouldn't be fair not to include a Via.com review here as the entire experience was made so much better by the complimentary cab airport transfer and additional 10% discount offered by Via.com.
