Oviya Art Academy

We are an Art & Design school.The course is designed to develop skills in drawing,painting, mixed media and sculpture. They are delivered through a variety of projects working from primary source material, such as, from observation, still life, figure drawing,landscape, urban environment- and from imagination,interpretative study. With every project, there will be exposure to various artists and designers in order to learn different techniques and styles of art forms.They will be trained to learn and apply technical skill necessary to form, compose and communicate in two and three dimensions. They will appreciate images and artifacts across times and cultures and understand the context in which they were made.The course will lead to a wider awareness of the role played by the visual arts in society and in the history of civilization. It will broaden their cultural horizons and enrich their individual experience.The course will also include lecture demonstrations and workshops in related medium like Photography, Multi Media, Graphic designing.Each student will be given different projects to work on an individual basis depending on ones ability and acumen.
